I understand why some people would want to use the death penalty as an option to a serious crime. Personally I don’t think there is any circumstance in which one person can determine the length of another person’s life. Instead I propose life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. This would keep the criminal from committing another crime but he can still exist as a human being, which is one of our unalienable rights.
